Staff

The students at Options for Youth have access to full-time Student Advisors. The Student Advisor  staff provides a comprehensive, coordinated program which includes building safe, healthy, and effective learning environments by working with students and moving them towards graduation.

Student Advisor Mission Statement

The Student Advisors at Options for Youth, while understanding and supporting the mission of the school, have determined that our mission is to encourage and challenge students to consider that completion of their high school education has great benefits as they choose a post-high school path. Our goal is that each student be given the opportunity to explore what these post-high school plans might be: whether it be a college education, a career choice, a technical/trade school, the general work force, or the military. All students must be given the same chance to pursue a path that suits them best. We also desire that students leaving Options for Youth will choose a path that finds them "giving back" to their communities.
